Event activation
A branded object people can discover, queue around, sponsor and talk about without needing staff to explain it all day.
Festival photo activation
Snapillar is a branded photo activation for festivals and events. Guests take consistently framed photos, upload them through a QR code, and the approved uploads become social-ready recap content.
Why events buy it
A physical photo point, QR upload flow, consent capture, moderation dashboard, and final content pack - designed for real event teams.
A branded object people can discover, queue around, sponsor and talk about without needing staff to explain it all day.
Guests create the source material themselves, with a consistent composition that makes the final timelapse feel polished.
After the festival, organisers receive edited reels, stills and a crowd timeline they can post while the event buzz is still warm.
How it works
Set up the unit using a base, ground stake, pole clamp, or approved event structure.
The phone guide and floor marker help guests frame their photo consistently.
Guests scan, upload, accept consent, and join the event timeline.
Uploads can be reviewed before they are used in any public content.
Approved uploads are turned into a timelapse, reel, gallery, or content pack.
Event logistics
Snapillar is designed for busy events, distracted guests, flexible placement, and post-event content delivery. It can be used as a self-install kit or as part of a managed activation.
Shipped to your event with setup guide, mounting options, QR panel, and return instructions.
Use a base, ground stakes, pole clamp, or strap system depending on your site.
Eligible bookings can include an agreed minimum valid upload target for extra confidence.
The final asset
Daylight, golden hour, night lighting, outfits, face paint and friend groups all stack into one satisfying visual rhythm.
Commercial shape
Each package can include the physical pillar, event setup, branded QR journey, moderation and post-event video production.
Best for small events, venues and proof-of-concept installs.
Best for weekend festivals that need multiple posts after the event.
Best for large festivals, arenas and brand activations.
Trust and consent
Guests see clear instructions, consent wording, privacy links, and a removal request route before they upload a personal photo.
Event teams can review uploads before using them in a recap, gallery, social post, or content pack. Removal requests can be handled through the public photo removal page.
Practical questions
The backend plan includes a moderation status for each photo: pending, approved, rejected or needs review. Only approved photos should enter final exports.
The QR upload flow requires explicit consent before submission. The backend should store the consent text version, timestamp, event and submission ID.
Yes. The pillar, upload page, final overlays and dashboard event theme can all support sponsor logos or campaign colours.
The physical product should plan for a soft LED or nearby lighting setup so the frame remains usable after dark.
Yes. Snapillar can be supplied as a self-install kit for suitable events. We prepare the QR upload page, branding, consent flow, and dashboard before shipping. Your team sets up the unit, submits a setup check, and we manage the digital side remotely.
Not always. For local or premium activations, we can discuss full-service setup. For many events, Snapillar is designed to work as a self-install kit with remote setup checks and return collection.
For eligible bookings, we can agree a minimum valid upload target before the event. If the target is not reached and the unit was correctly set up, visible, accessible, and live for the agreed event period, we'll offer the remedy agreed in your booking confirmation.
A valid upload is a completed photo submission linked to the correct event, with consent accepted, that is not spam, duplicate, blank, abusive, corrupted, or technically unusable.
For self-install bookings, the event organiser is responsible for placing and securing the Snapillar using the provided setup guide. Snapillar checks the setup remotely using submitted photos and a test upload before the activation goes live.
Yes, the Snapillar Lite unit is designed for flexible placement and can be clamped or strapped to approved poles, marquee legs, barriers, or event structures. It should only be attached to structures approved by the event organiser or venue.
Yes, where suitable. A ground stake setup can be used for grass festival sites, using a low-profile base plate and event-appropriate anchors. Final placement depends on ground conditions and venue rules.
The setup check includes a QR code test before the event starts. If an issue is found, we can replace the QR destination, provide a backup link, or help the organiser switch to the spare QR panel where included.
Yes. Photos can be reviewed before being used in the final timelapse, gallery, or social content. Only approved, valid uploads should be included in final exports.
